They are now on the lookout for a Warehousing Operative to join their busy warehousing department.

Specialising in the automotive industry and others they design parts for the likes of Jaguar, Landrover etc.
They are now on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehousing department.
The ideal candidate will be willing to learn, have excellent attention-to-detail, be self-motivated and eager to learn. Standard level of English and Maths is essential and must be able to arrive on-time.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Use of Gas Strut Charging Machines to produce parts as required
• Receive incoming goods, ensuring correct quantities against purchase orders and dispatch notes.
• Booking incoming goods on the Progress Plus system, ensuring that quantities and locations are correctly recorded.
• Storage of raw material in the appropriate storage areas, ensuring that materials are stored in a safe manner which protects both employees and the materials.
• Issue of raw material to appropriate Works Orders, ensuring that issued materials are booked out correctly on the Progress Plus system.
• Receipt of finished goods from production departments, ensuring that the quantities are recorded on the Progress Plus system correctly.
• Packing of finished good for dispatch to customer, ensuring that the quantities of goods packed are in accordance with customer wishes.
• Dispatch of finished goods, by courier, or by other means (including customer collection). Ensure that the goods are booked out on the Progress Plus system, the packaging is appropriate for the goods, a signature is received for the dispatch from the courier service or customer.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring that Health and Safety Policy is adhered to.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3:30
Salary: £9.25 per hour
