Administration & Accounts Assistant

This company are a buying group and was established in 1977 and have over 250 independent stores across the UK and Europe who use the Toymaster brand to help promote their business.
They are now on the lookout for an administrator to come and join their busy team assisting with the administration and finance team.

Job purpose

The right person will be a team player, confident, enthusiastic, willing to learn and flexible.

Full training is given and within your first couple of months within the role you will be sitting with everyone in the business learning the systems and receiving extensive training.

Your main duties will include:

• Using the online OCR system you will be responsible for verifying invoices and ensuring they match delivery addresses and invoices

• If PDF invoices do not match the correct address you will be responsible for checking the CRM system to find out where the error took place and resolving this issue

• Preparing, inputting orders and invoices onto the in-house bespoke system

• Preparing the despatch of orders and uploading them onto the in-house system

• Updating invoices and credit notes onto the in-house system

• Day to day handling of Member and Suppliers ledgers and queries (full training given)

• Attending trade/membership meetings/functions as required

• Answering telephone calls and directing them to the correct department, in time you will be able to respond to customer queries

Further into the role you will be given Accounts and Finance responsibilities where you will be responsible for:

• Maintain a smooth running of banking, finance, payroll management reporting, credit insurance, Instratat and WEEE (Instrat and WEEE will be given full training as these are government policies)

• Any other finance duties required
