Accounts Manager

Our client are the UK’s leading intermediary for B2B energy sales, and their staff and innovation have enabled them to successfully grow their business over the last 20 years. Business is booming and they are expanding at a rapid rate. Come and join them in their brand new offices and help shape their business as they enter into this exciting phase. This role will be working with the SME Sales Channel, the Account Manager will be managing a portfolio of brokers from a sales and quality perspective and supporting the Area Manager in achieving targets and KPI’s.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:30

Salary: £17-21K depending on experience

The duties will include:

• Management of broker portfolio responsible for sales targets, relationship and other KPI’s

• Be accountable for the contribution of value for your portfolio into the wider business targets

• Support brokers in resolving any issues and keep them updated with any product, service, system or supplier changes that will impact them.

• Seek new sales opportunities in the SME sector.

• Encourage an atmosphere of trust, openness and communication with brokers, establishing clear ways of working, to make it beneficial for them to do business with OnlineDIRECT.

• Manage agent renewal performance ensuring in line with individual and internal retention targets.

• Manage agent contract quality and training requirements ensuring quote/query to sales ratio is in line with the business standard.

• Improve on drop out and sales losses through management of supplier rejection/ returns and OD processing failures.

• Responsibility for agent compliance, audit and complaints ratio and ownership of any breach in code of practice and upheld complaints.

• Identify sales trends, competition and agent product and service requirements and feedback intelligence to the business.

• Ensure all brokers have appropriate knowledge and understanding of EE and are competent to carry out expected query and contract management.

• Ensure all brokers have appropriate knowledge and understanding of all available products, suppliers and promotions.
