Apply nowThis is a great opportunity for an apprentice to work in a rapidly expanding company based in Thrapston. Alongside a thriving business making reusable, ecofriendly products the company also has a division dedicated to selling beautiful fabrics on a variety of well-known platforms. The role is predominantly working for the fabric business, however there will be cross over on several duties.
Job duties and responsibilities will grow as experience does but the main duties will be:
• Picking up customer queries from several sites and responding to questions in a prompt and accurate manner.
• Processing customer orders.
• Checking systems for stock availability.
• Updating sites and customers in accordance with stock levels.
• Fetching and carrying reels of material.
• Cutting materials in line with orders.
• Preparing orders for dispatch and completing the administration duties related to this including applying the correct postage.
Whilst manual handling training will be given, the successful applicant will need to be physically fit to move materials around. Health and safety and risk assessments are carried out by the directors.
We are looking for a candidate with a ‘hands-on’ approach but also with excellent customer service and written English language abilities.
The role will be supported by 20% off the job training with Starting Off and the apprentice will achieve a level 2 Customer Service Practitioner standard. The qualification takes 15 months to complete alongside the job role.
Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm. Monday – Friday.
Salary: £4.15 per annum raising to £4.50 per hour after 3 month probation.
